Our last late lunch-early dinner in DF for awhile

Time to breath a little.  We got back to the office got our plane tickets, canceled our 3rd AirBnB, and did some coordination with the THP staff in Chiapas. We went to grab a bite to eat at 4:30 pm.  We went to our normal lunch spot in a big open central market.   It started to rain and neither of us had a raincoat. Stan’s was in the apartment and I didn’t bring one (only a softshell with a hood) I figured I would get a simple vinyl one along the way (I have not found one yet).  So we ran to the market and we didn’t get too wet as the rain was just starting.

Today was a special day as they had enchiladas.

Lunch Spot

The staff is starting to know us and the place always has good food.  We got our plates of enchiladas with green sauce and it will be lunch and dinner all for $110P for the both of us ($5.85USD). As we got up to leave it was pouring a typical DF afternoon- evening thundershower.  But luck was with us again.  I have been looking for an umbrella but have not seen one (at a good price) anywhere in DF, but today I found one for $ 100P.  We used it to get back to the office as it would mostly cover both of us.

We left about 6:15 between rain storms for the 10-minute walk back to AirBnB#2.

Our next news will be from San Cristobal Chiapas 🙂
