Major Progress, but still waiting on others
We finally made some major progress today. The contracts were released for the making of the wood molds at Maderas+ and for the Tepizel (pumice) from Materiales Varmex . The good news is Maderas+ will only need 2-3 days to cut the 6 sets of molds that we need for Chiapas and Oaxaca. They are also arranging the shipping of both our plastic molds and the cut wood. We are hoping the shipper can come back with a quote today so we can repay it via THP, because in country wire transfer is instantaneous where one coming from the states can take a week!
Today is poised to receive the cargo from the USA which is scheduled to arrive in DF at the warehouse today (Friday). We really don’t know if it will happen because it is 1:30pm and no phone calls yet. Our hope is that the delivery driver contacts us so we can meet the shipment and then work on repackaging it to have 1 box with 6 sets of molds in it.
Our stress level is lower but not low enough yet.
