Don’t buy round trip tickets
Stan and I just spent over an hour on the phone with Aeromexico trying to change our return flight. They wanted to charge us an additional $160 and route us through Salt Lake City. This would be a fee of $360!
We decided to eat our return tickets and buy new non-stop tickets for $ 400. We feel that that for $40 it’s worth it to go nonstop vs a 12+ hour journey.
Another learning experience. Don’t buy round trip tickets.
