Community challenges
Sunday night we had a lengthy discussion with THP. The conversation was about the program and that some of the community members are not pleased with the progress. Margarita spent the day Saturday in the community trying to understand the situation. Roberto is coming down on Monday morning to help us bridge the confusion. We do not fully understand the situation. As of Friday, the promoters seemed to be happy with the process and progress. They were laughing at really having a good time making the second set of combustion chambers. We were excited to see their excitement, and skill level.
We hope that Margarita and Roberto can smooth out the issues with the community.
On a different note. I need more nails for my nail gun, but I can’t find the correct length. I will take some to a metal working shop an see if they can cut them off. I think I will be easy with the jig I made as a good chop saw.
With the confusion in the community, we will have a few days in San Cristóbal to get ready for the next adventure in Oaxaca.
